10 Things that are real

Music creates different sorts of emotions
can make you imagine things
can make you cry
can inspire you for things

Games are played for the fun of it
there are loads of different types of games
games can help people bond
games can make people angry

When everything seems lost there is always a light somewhere around you
It sounds more literal in a dream
It can also happen physically
and mentally

You can't live life without failure
when you fail you learn
when you lose you learn
when you learn you have more knowledge

You can't lie to your friend
you can technically lie to your friend
but that would be really bad
you wouldn't really be a good friend

You can't keep a secret forever
if you try keeping a secret you always seem to tell someone
who would tell everyone
or just your friend will tell everyone

Even if you feel lonely, your never alone
you always have god
or your family

If someone likes you not because of who you are then he is not a real friend
you can't buy people happiness
you can't buy friends

Money can't grow on trees
there is such a thing called a money tree\but money can't grow on trees
only apples can grow on trees

Slender Man

I was just playing a good old game of Slender when I suddenly got an idea. That idea was making a blog post about the game Slender. Sometimes I wonder why do people play slender. Some of you are probbably reading this blog post and wondering, who is the slender man and what is the game Slender???

I will tell you what it is.

The Slender man is a tall creepy creature or person who is around 8 feet tall and who can grow taller and can grow tentacles. He wears a suit and he has a plain white face. When he comes close to you I think he might make your vision go static but I am not completely sure. The history of the Slender man is that he lives in a forest and when children come in to the forest he kidnaps them and kills them. When the adults find out, they go to try to rescue their child or children but it is no use as the slender man has killed them. People tried collecting information about him and brought a camera with them, but whenever the slender man sees someone with a camera, he kills them.

To this day, people say that the slender man is a myth but you never know... He could exist and be real. I wonder if just an adult invented the slender man and tried to get their child to do what they're told.

The game slender is quite an intense game, what you have to do is you spawn at the edge of the forest and you have to collect 8 pages without getting killed from the slender man who roams around the forest. In the game, it is permanently night time because it makes it scarier. When you see the slender man, your screen goes static and you can hear him and you start getting scared. You're most likely to get killed by him if you look back behind you because he will be most likely to be there.  Once you collect all eight pages without getting killed by the slender man, you get killed by him anyway. I have heard from some people that you can get mods for the game slender and do stuff with it, like changing the time to day or something like that. I know loads of people who like the game.

I think people like this game because people want to get scared and they can count themselves as brave. I think people are scared of the slender because of the sound effects in the game, the awkward silence around you and the anticipation of expecting the slender man to come at you. People get scared because the slender man comes out when you least expect it. I bet you that you wouldn't believe me that people record their reactions of slender and upload it to youtube. The best time to play slender would be in the night because that would raise the bar of anticipation and expectation.

Well I'm done talking about slender and who he is and what the game is. I hoped you enjoyed this blog post and that it informed you. Now that I have talked about the slender, I feel like he's creeping up behind me.

Why is the Technology so Good

People sometimes ask " Why is the Technology So Good". Well I'm going to tell you why. Some people mostly adults don't like the internet and think it's just a trap so their kid can start going on it 24/7. But in fact Technology is good because you can do loads of cool stuff on it. But there are loads of reasons kids go on technology. You can do loads of things like blog like I'm doing, or listening to music or playing games or interacting with each other or even researching. Some kids go onto the internet because there life is so hard and it's a good place to get cover. There are so many different ways to use technology. Most jobs use or make technology and parents tell their kid to get off of technology when you see them going on when your not aloud. People have different opinions on technology. There is also a bad side about technology like hackers who hack something.

Lord of the Rings Review part 1

I think the Lord of the Rings part 1 of 1 is very good. The only thing that lacks in this book is the action. In the beginning there is no action, there is barely action in part 1 of 1. And it almost put me off of the Lord of the Rings. But luckily I wanted to read more to see if there was any action. The book is about travelling to a certain place. I would rate this book a 7 out of 10 but don't get your hopes down to soon. I'm reading the second part and there seems to be a lot of action. The main characters of this book are Frodo, Sam, Gandalf, Pippin, Merry and Bilbo. This book is about how bilbo Baggins feels for adventure and goes to Elrond and Frodo after a few years tries to follow him but there is danger throughout his journey.

What was my Action Project for EBTC

My Action Project for EBTC was about sea turtles. Me and Daiki were going to do an action project about sharks, but another group took that idea. So we had the idea of sea turtles. Our first idea of what we were going to do was raising awareness about how sea turtles were extinct in Singapore and how we wanted make them aware of it so we could tell them to stop throwing trash in the sea and rivers etc... But then Mr Johnston started talking about Tioman and it gave me the idea that we were going to focus on grade 6 and give them a better experience when they go to Tioman in April by giving them a presentation but at the same time when we were going to have the EBTC fair, we could just raise awareness about it and then focus on grade 6.

Daiki had made an Imovie, about sea turtles and we posted it on youtube. So we had a movie about sea turtles and we had created a blog for our information on sea turtles.

For our EBTC fair what we did was we raised the awareness about sea turtles for the whole school. But our main focus is for raising awareness to grade 6 because when they go to Tioman we want to give them a better experience they will never forget and so they can apply that good knowledge to use and spread the word about how sea turtles are endangered species and they have been living since the dinosaur age.

What we are going to do now is, we are going to focus on grade 6 and give them a presentation on sea turtles and their life cycle and how it is being ruined. Then once they have been to Tioman we are going to tell them what we want them to do. What we want them to do is we want them to tell everybody they know about how sea turtles are in danger and so we can raise the awareness even more and then we will tell them to pick up garbage they see in the water or sea. Then what we want to do is we want even more people to be aware and then we will tell them about how flattening beaches can crush sea turtle eggs and how that is affecting the regeneration is sea turtles.

Book Review "Thirteen Reasons Why"

In english, we had to borrow a book or two from the library.  My two books are "Tomorrow when the War Began" and "Thirteen Reasons Why".  I started reading Tomorrow when the War Began, but I didn't really like the beginning, so I left it alone for now, so I started reading Thirteen Reasons Why. I read the first to chapters and it was good and confusing. The book so far is about this girl called Hannah Baker, who commits suicide. Before she had committed suicide, she had created 7 different tapes all about her life. She puts them in a box and sends it to people, the box has reached this boy called Clay Jensen, he is a boy who ius in the same school as Hannah Baker. So he starts looking at all the tapes and he is getting really freaked out. I think this is a horror book because so far from the start, to the point I have read. I think the book is designed to scare you and make you afraid. I think this is a rather mysterious book and people will find it very confusing. I think the further on I read in this book, the more I will get scared but in the end, I think I will have enjoyed this book. I think this book is appropriate for age thirteen and over.

Poem Reflection

To see a World in a Grain of Sand
by William Blake

To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.

This poem is trying to tell us that everybody, sees the world as a different place and that if the world suddenly changed people would still see it as the same. The last two sentences are very mysterious and I don't understand what they mean. I think it's something about caring for our world because we love and there's only one world and we see it differently through everybody's eyes. It means if we keep on taking care of our world, we can keep it forever but if we pollute and destroy our planet, we can change the world, from living for eternity for it to live for only one more hour.

Sibu Trip

My Sibu trip in my class was really good. We stayed on an island off of Malaysia for one week and we had loads if fun. When I came back from Sibu I learnt about how harsh someone poor is and how spoilt we are. Sibu was all about making new friends and learning how to camp and put survival skills to use. We also past our rights of passage on the last day and everybody felt proud of themselves for kayaking around the whole island. But Sibu wasn't just about kayaking it was also for friendship and understanding.

All the classes who have went said they didn't like it, but our class were the first one's who did, I had heard from other students that they were complaining about how bad the tents were and how they wanted to be back at home on their computer, or having a shower, or something very luxurious  because they took everything for granted. But our class learnt how to appreciate stuff in life. We learnt more about nature and we saw some amazing things such as sea turtles and stingrays and we learnt about mangroves and how they make a big difference.

When we were kayaking, we were very tired but we still kept on going, until we reached our checkpoint, we worked very hard and it's very rewarding once you finish your goal. Everybody in the class were setting goals, and they probbably all completed their goals. Sometimes we had our ups and downs but we pulled through and we completed our rights of passage with the help of our mentor and all the instructors. We all pushed each other along when we were tired, and that helped us form friendships.

I think in the trip, I have learnt not to take things for granted and that adventure always wait's for you. I think I learnt how to be a better leader with the help of Wasabi. I also think I was sometimes waiting for everyone and my friends said it so it made me feel proud of myself. I think this trip has changed me a lot and it has changed everyone.

Digestive System Reflection

In this unit, we were testing for foods and we dissected a pig, for our test when we were testing for starch, fats, glucose and protein. We learnt how the digestive system works. We learnt in what order the food went down and how did it change. It was gruesome for some people but overall it was fun. The main parts are the mechanical digestion, the esophagus, the stomach, the small intestine, the large intestine and last but not least, the anus/rectum. We created our Prezi presentations and I have learnt a lot since the start of the unit. The unit was short, it was 5 weeks long which isn't very long. We also learnt that every single blood vessel in your body goes around the world about a few times. I will probably not forget a single thing i have learnt because, in the future it could be important. My favorite thing was the Prezi and the dissection we just did because I love to make presentations and listening to music at the same time and I like to dissect and learn about the body or an animals body. I would like to know how long you could survive if the calories you eat doesn't meat to your expectations. Thanks for spending time reading my post.:)
